For me, that moment was standing in Santo Domingo, on my island, launching our new 353 Ritual Kit during Volver a mis raíces, a women’s retreat filled with love, music, and connection.
This was a piece of my heart coming home.
The Meaning Behind 353
The number 353 isn’t random, it’s the day my mother was born: May 3, 1953.
She was the one who taught me the art of smelling good, of caring for myself with intention. From the body creams she’d collect, to the oils she’d layer on her skin… those rituals weren’t just about beauty, they were about self-love.
Even though she’s no longer here physically, I feel her presence in every detail of this kit. She’s guiding me from above, and now, I get to share those same rituals with my sisters all over the world.

Back to Retreats, Back to Sisterhood
Walking into the retreat, I felt that familiar energy I’d missed so much, the kind you only get when women gather with open hearts. We meditated, danced, and shared our stories. I hugged women I’ve known for years and met new sisters who felt like family instantly.
It reminded me why I do this: to create spaces where women can reconnect with themselves, feel seen, and be reminded that they are never alone.
Self-Love as a Daily Practice
To me, self-love it’s survival. It’s starting your day with scents and textures that make you feel alive. It’s taking 5 minutes to touch your skin, breathe deeply, and remember: I am worthy. I am enough.
